Michael Waltrip Brewing Company Announces Extension, 5 Year Milestone with Tommy D’Angelo Racing
Michael Waltrip Brewing Company (MWB) announced an extension of the company’s sponsorship program with Tommy D’Angelo Racing through the 2026 racing season. This marks the fifth consecutive year of one of the most significant sponsorships in northeast dirt racing.
The premium beer brand, founded by two-time Daytona 500 Champion and Fox Broadcaster Michael Waltrip, began the association with D’Angelo at the beginning of the 2022 season through an initial pilot project that ultimately blossomed into a multiyear association that features social media campaigns and brand awareness efforts.
“We’re proud to celebrate five years of cheering on Tommy and his team,” said Michael Waltrip. “Watching Tommy’s development across dirt tracks has been incredible. We’re thrilled to be part of his journey and to share the Michael Waltrip Brewing Co. brand with race fans everywhere.”
D’Angelo, a native of Halfmoon, New York, launched his career in 2019 and quickly became known as a rising talent. His early progression included multiple wins, race heat victories, and consistent top five and top ten finishes in the competitive DIRTcar Sportsman division. In 2024, D’Angelo advanced into the 850HP Super Big Block Modifieds, earning praise for an impressive rookie season.
